Abstract

Elderly Posyandu is an integrated service post for the elderly in a certain agreed area, which is driven by the community where they can get health services. The objectives of the formation of the posyandu for the elderly are, among others, increasing the reach of the health services of the elderly in the community, so that health services are formed in accordance with the needs of the elderly, bringing services closer and increasing public and private participation in health services, encouraging and facilitating the elderly to remain active, productive, and independent and improve communication between the elderly community This research was conducted with the aim to find out the relationship between the attitudes of the elderly, the distance of health services, the role of cadres and family support with the use of the elderly posyandu in the Gunung Tua Julu Community Health Center in Panyabungan District. This type of research used in this research is fanalitic descriptive research. The method used is a cross sectional study (cross sectional study). To obtain data in the field by distributing questionnaires to 96 respondents. Respondents in this study were elderly who were registered in 6 posyandu in the area of ​​the Gunung Tua Julu Health Center in Panyabungan District. The results of the study were analyzed using SPSS for windows with the ChiSquare statistical test showing that there was a relationship between the attitudes of the elderly (p = 0,000 <0.05), distance of health services (p = 0.011 <0.05), the role of cadres (p = 0.005 <0, 05) and family support (p = 0.028 <0.05) with the use of posyandu for the elderly in the area of ​​the Gunung Tua Julu Health Center in Panyabungan District in 2015.
