Old age is a natural process of growth and development. The elderly often experience increased blood pressure. Elderly exercise that is done regularly can accelerate blood circulation so that high blood pressure can return to normal limits. The purpose of this study was to determine blood pressure before and after elderly exercise and the effect of elderly exercise on blood pressure stability. Pre experimental research design with one group pretest and post test design, and data collected from respondents using the observation sheet. Samples amounted to 49 samples, using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study used paired t test, differences in systolic blood pressure before and after elderly exercise, meeting I P values (0.083)> α (0.05) II P (0.044) <α (0.05) III P (0.322)> α (0.05). Difference in diastolic blood pressure before and after elderly exercise, meeting I obtained P values (0,000) <α (0.05) II P (0.001) <α (0.05) III P (0.013) <α (0.05). Conclusion there is no effect of elderly exercise on systolic blood pressure and there is an influence of elderly exercise on diastolic blood pressure in the elderly group in the Gunung Tua Julu Community Health Center in Panyabungan District. Suggestions for the community, especially for elderly people individually, can continue to do elderly gymnastics regularly
