Abstract

Outstanding performance can improve treatment, specifically the healing of pulmonary TB. The main cause of low returns is drug factor. The performance of pulmonary TB staff in the treatment of pulmonary TB cannot be agreed on factors related to the performance of the staff themselves. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the performance of pulmonary TB staff in the Mandaling Natal Health Center in 2016. This type of research is a descriptive analysis with cross sectional design. The population in this study was pulmonary TB staff at the Puskesmas. The entire population was used as the study sample (total sampling). Data obtained through interviews; then, analyzed using chi square at α = 0.05. The results showed that the knowledge of lung tuberculosis staff in the good category was 24 people, the high motivation category was 21 people, the supporting motivation category was 26 people, the good category award was 24 people. There is no relationship between knowledge and performance of pulmonary TB staff in the Mandaling Natal District health center in 2016. In addition, there is a relationship between motivation and performance and support of pulmonary TB staff. Published to the Mandaling Natal District Health Department to increase assistance for pulmonary TB program staff through regular and ongoing training in an effort to improve the performance of pulmonary TB staff
