Abstract

Provision of drug information plays an important role in improving the quality of patients live and provide quality services to patients. Quality of life and quality of service may decline due to poor adherence to the treatment program. The cause of non-compliance is due to lack of information of drugs. Efforts to support high-quality services in health centers, pharmacy installation at Puskesmas Panyabungan need to do an evaluation of drug information services on an outpatient basis. Thepurpose ofthisstudywastodetermine therealizationofdrugsinformationserviceoutpatient pharmacy at Puskesmas Panyabungan when compared to the desired target. This research is a descriptive view primary data documentation of drug information services at outpatient health centers Grabag. The method of data collection in this study using non-participation observation where researchers simplyobserved andrecordedsystematically usinga checklistthat contains about druginformation component. To compare the actual with the desired target used the gap analysis. The results of the evaluation study of drug information services on an outpatient accomplished withtherealizationofagapnegatively by(-1.05%). Componentsdruginformationpresentedinclude dosage forms, drug dosage, indications, contraindications, side effects and drug interactions, while the components of drug information is not submitted in the pharmacy Grabag I is the storage of drugs and drug stability. It is concluded that the drug information service at the outpatient in the pharmacy at Puskesmas Panyabungan with the realization has not yet reached the desired target.
